Why are sluts like paris hilton idolised by girls these days?

Isn't the avg woman today destroying female achievements, turning into sluts at a young age in the name of feminism when all it does is demean women and objectifies them as sexdolls? Why not idolise someone like florence nitingale, mother teresa etc. I'm not even christian and i admire them for their work!

Most who are attracted to media types usually don't understand life and themselves first. They are under pressure from family and peers to be successful at something in life, have lots of friends and get married. They are often confused about their own wants and needs and some have a de-ranged attitude towards members of the opposite sex with expectations so high, that nobody can satisfy them.

The media allows them to connect in their minds with the real absurbity of life and the complex eviscerative and salicious nature of the shallow lives of hollywood celebrities. They want to feel empowered by them because some can't make decisions about their own lives well. They want to look up to someone who has it all, even with though stupidity rules in their minds. They don't want to think about many things, just do.

It isn't all bad. Paris Hilton does have money. So many relate to that too.

When the big money like the Hilton's have is spread around she becomes a hit. But society as a whole has placed higher value on how a woman looks on the outside vs the inside, which is a shame plus has created the anorexia generation

I don't know! Girls have no good female role models and it seems like they are getting dumber and dumber. Look at how popular Girls gone wild has become. The worst thing I have ever heard is when I was working at a hospital and i heard a 9 year old say she wanted to be like paris hilton when she grew up..that really scared me. I think people like that should be banned from T.V.

its how the entertainment industry markets them, and what young girls see on t.v. is what they want to be. it sucks but it is true, you don't see mother teresa on some cheesy reality t.v. show or strutting the red carpet at the m.tv. music awards but if these girls were taught right from wrong, what they should do and what they shouldn't then maybe their would be a turn around, but until then they are going be be idolizing anorexic bitches like paris hilton.

Because every ones egos are so big that no one can handle a celebrity that actually has talent anymore. No talent? "It doesn't matter anymore!" Our egos are so big now that we have to be able to say "Oh I can do that!" Look at what is popular in music now also, No talent DJ's, LOL! Rap, Hip Hop... no one is even playing an instrument, they can't even program there own drum machines, the studio engineer has to do it for them. As long as you have the look, the hair, the bling, the money and might be able to dance badly, you can be the next big star! No talent is where it's at! It's all about ego...

I think its the tabloid press who seem to romanticise the dumbness of brainless sluts and project them as icons. But those who really idolise such celebs well.....god help them because they aren't any heiress to a fortune like Paris .

Now a days SOME women feel they need to be loved, and the only way they will be loved is by sex appeal.. Young girls (i'm one but dont follow) Feel they need to be looked at by everyone so they do these things to get attention. Ex. why does rob zombie do what he does. I don't think that there are a lot of women/girls who idolize Paris Hilton - I think more men just want her. In my opinion, Paris Hilton represents everything a woman should not be (except perhaps wealthy!).

the media plan and simple!!i bought 10 mags the other day just to prove a point to my 12 year old daughter.in everyone was paris hilton,lindsey lohan,ashley simpson,jessica simpson,hill duff,the olsens,and angelina jolie!and this is all these girls see and hear about on a daily basis.mtv,vh1,movies,now these girls are even beieng singers!look at paris hilton for example she promotes its okay to be rich and treat people like crap and whats funny she has never worked a day in her life.she is a bone with skin stretched across her,fake hair fake eye color i mean what is real about her(well at least its her boobs )too flat to be fake.then lindsey lohan a anerexic drunk slutt who sleeps with everyone the same as paris hilton if im right those 2 fight over the same men one sleepin with one ,one week the other the next..whew jerry springer time in hollywood.then asley and jessica simpson 2 bleached out over tanned tramps where one brags(ashley)that she likes to drink and partyand the other(jessicca)who cant keep in a committed marriage without cheating then leaving her husband.and all you hear is what man she is with this week.hill duff sweet girl but dating a older man and her image has went from cute girly to white trash goth girlfriend of benji joe madden(good charlotte)and is wasting away as well ,on her paris hilton weight loss diet.then you have angelina jolie a lovely beautiful women no doubt ,but a home wreckin man stealin adultress ,teaching girls its okay to be married 3 times steal a married man get pregnant by him and act as if nothing is qrong and yet no even have the nerve to marry the man even tho he is the father .and these are the certain women we hear and see on tv or the radio everyday.and these girls think that its cool and alright for this behavior,cause these famous people do it and look how famous it gets them and there rich so to be like them u must act and look like them.and its sad how these reporters idiolize them and put them on pedestals.wheich in fact they should all be in the walk of shame,knowing that little girls like my 12 year old daughter look up to them and want to be like them .i think these certain stars need to grow up and quit thinking they are invinsable cause there not!!put there self in real peoples shoes and quit living on fanasty island as if there gods.so blame the media people should quit buying mags watching certain shows and show all those skanks that there only famous cause we the american people fund there way!
