I have often wondered. That's why I carefully examined every religion (and continue to re-examine). I am a Christian not just because I have rejected other religions, but also because I accept the Bible.
Pascal's wager might be a good starting place for looking at religion, but that in and of itself isn't much of a basis for a foundation.

If Islam was right, then Christians should be okay as it says in the Koran that all followers of God, including Christians are cool in the gang, well not in those exact words. Hinduism and Taoism are human philosophies that have little to say about God. One can believe in these and be Christian at the same time.
Oh, I forgot to say strawberries, I've decided to say that in everthing now.

If Islam is "right" then the whole world will be plunged into darkness of indescribable evil. All nonbelievers will be killed in the most unimagineably horrible ways, all civilization will be destroyed. And the world will end in a holocaust as the anti-christ appears somewhere in Iran in the next couple years. The devout will spend eternity having sex with pre-pubescent boys and the rest will burn forever in hell.
This is, of course, what Islam says will happen and to disagree with it in any way is punishable by death.
Thank God this isn't the case. I mean that literally.

Belief is a choice, whether it be from a Christian percpective, an Islamic perspective, or any other. As a Christian, I choose to believe what the Bible says. I am sure if I were a Moslem, I'd choose to believe what the Koran says. What I looked at when making my choice is what are the results? I believe that the results of Christianity outweigh the results of other religions, so that's what I have chosen to believe.

In my opinion, the price will be to great not to believe then it is too believe. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. If I'm not wrong and I don't believe then that's a whole different ball game isn't it. Also keep in mind, I don't think those other religions are "wrong" either. Each has a central figure, under a different name. Didn't you ever notice the similarities between all religions.

Thank you for finally stating a question like this, and many people, from all religions, would probably freak out if theirs wasn't the right one. I personally think Judaism is the correct path but one never knows...

NO - cuz - the Bible is historically accurate as well as prophetically - what is happening today was clearly discribed well over 2000 years ago in several different books of the prophets of Israel [ not in vague generalities, but in clearly defined specifics ]

God's message for the time of historic previous replaced into an similar: Worship God on my own and be waiting for the day you meet your Lord. that's an similar message that replaced into preached through prophets when you consider that Adam replaced into created. the version between those prophets replaced into in the information of the religion in words of dealing with others, what to eat and drink, a thanks to worship God, etc. at the same time as people began replacing their faith, false impression the message, raising a number of their non secular people and prophets to the status of God, or adjust their books to larger healthy their needs, God then despatched prophets to perfect what went incorrect. no longer all of us familiar the hot message, so distinct sects were created and those sects began battling each and each claiming to have the perfect message. would God handbook us to the perfect route.

Islam denies the death of Jesus on the cross. Islam denies that Jesus is the son of God. Islam states Allah has no son. Therefore, Allah cannot be the God of the bible. So....no....I have no doubt that Islam is a false religion.
My belief is that the bible is the truth, and Jesus is the only way to God, as He stated.
