its usually a few reasons....
1.) actually like the girls, can't think right..
2.) just plain stupid.
3.) an act of flirtation toward the woman and thinking it's actually working....

trying to get the girls attation (sorry about spelling) trying to look cool but when all they really are doing is saying look at me I am idiot and they think the girls think they are cool but in fact just makes the girls want nothing to do with them
