The hardest thing you could do, but the most effective, is invite him to do something with you. Maybe the two of you could go for a walk, play a board game, toss a ball in the back yard, paint a picture, write a story, or even clean the playroom. This may not sound like a good solution, and it may not seem like much fun, but if you go into this with a good attitude, your brother will feel included in your life and he will stop picking on you. The two of you will probably have some fun, and for a few minutes you might actually like each other.
It really will work.

Hey, I've got 11 brothers and sisters, and trust me, you can't get them to stop. What you can do is try to sit down and talk with him, tell him that sometimes you need time alone, or time with just you and your friends. That may or may not work. If it doesn't, talk to your parents about it and see if they'll help out. If they won't, then you'll have to try it with him again, only this time maybe you should set a specific time in the day for you and him to just be siblings. Ya know? If this doesn't work, I'm sorry. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. God bless you.

try the *lets make a deal * agreement........ if he either stops completely or at least lessens the assaults, you will take him on a very special outing... like a movie, if he is nice 3 days in a row, or maybe make it 4........ then if after that he is good say 5 days, a treat at McDs and a movie....... the on and on........ it may be a struggle but you will be a good big sister and teach him that rudeness is not repaid, but that kindness and respect is....... I think you will see a great change in him...... I really think he is just after YOUR attention......... God bless

I feel ur pain, sister. I got the same problem. I found that my lil bro likes to go do things with me. He has no friends either so it is a great bonding moment and he really likes the attention. Then he doesn't pick on me as much and isn't so annoying.

Blackmail....just kidding.
My little brother bugs me all the time.
Be so nice it kills him, I guess.
Just try to show you're not annoyed.
And if all else fails, I pinch my brother on his upper calf, a little bit below the back of the knee. It hurts like crazy. :)

Go into your room, lock the door and ignore him. He does it to get attention - good or bad. If you continually ignore him and pretend he's not there, over time (lots of time, so be patient) he will get bored with it and leave you alone, because you are no fun.

Why do you not take the initiative and make him your friend as well as your brother. It seems silly but he may be picking on you coz he has no mates. It may be uncool to befriend him but I am sure it will make you and him happy even if he does not want to admit it.
