Most nurses are not "evil demon's." Being a newly graduated nurse myself I see many ornery nurses. Many just get disgruntled with the work place and in particular the people they work for. And in many cases it is just an aggravating patient that causes the nurse to become ill acting!. I still have the good heart, the smile, the "I'm gonna do my patient good" attitude. you must have just gotten a doozy!

Many nurses are angels and many are not, but none are evil demons or they would not be nurses!! They all probably were very sweet at some point but due to long hours and patients from hell they have developed a survival attitude. I have had great nurses and horrible nurses, but if you treat them with the respect they deserve and thank them for the things they do for you they are usually quite nice. I have been in the room with some patients that treat the nurses as personal slaves and then yell at them for not doing things fast enough or the way they want them done. Nurses do not have that much time to devote to one patient, the hospitals are usually over-flowing and they do the best they can. Just treat them with understanding and kindness and you will usually see a drastic change in the way they treat you. After all, nobody can resist a beautiful smile but a frown puts everyone in a bad mood!

Nurses are anything but "evil demons." They are dedicated, kind individuals who put in long hours. You may have come into contact with a person who, unlike the majority of nurses, did not meet their high standards.

I'm a nurse and don't consider myself a evil demon! I do get some patients who are rude, demanding.

Nurses are God's Angels on Earth

They aren't, or they wouldn't be in the profession of helping people. They are called upon to do all sorts of procedures on patients. Sometimes those patients are totally uncooperative and the nurses have to muscle them down for their own good.

All the nurses my husband had during three hospital stays for cancer, were actually angels of God. I can't give them enough credit.

I think they are overworked. However, if you're a nurse, you should be NICE! These people need support, not some psycho unfeeling nurse.

I have to say I got lucky when I had my baby and had some really nice nurses. The anesthesiologist was a witch though.

Rules to live by:
1. Never piss off your bartender.
2. Never piss off your nurse.

We can get a whole lot more evilly demonic if you want to continue with this verbal abuse. (followed by evil laugh--whaaahaaaa haaaaa!!!!!!!!!--and brandishing a REALLY large syringe.)

Besides, maybe the evil nurses you've run into were just PMS'ing. We are still female, you know (most are).

Well, some are, some are not. I think the reason some are, are becuz the stress level at a hospital is pretty high. The ones that aren't demonic just no how to handle their stress.
