I know there are many beautiful parts in Mexico. However since they have taken over the city I live in, I think more of Tijuana. That is how my city looks now.

I am not sure I understand your question, Mexico is further south and it's bigger and they live like China with millions of people, a Mexican lady told me that and she told me they have to pay for their own education grades k-12, nothing is free and she said if you want any hospital care you have to pay first or you don't get treated. Tijuana is south of San Diego, and San Yasido looks just like TJ a sty, I am so glad they don't own San Diego or it would look just like TJ. If the United States would have taken Mexico in the Mexican- American war in 1848, which we could have, they decided to let the Mexicans keep that part, It would look totally different much better. But I here some parts of TJ is starting to look better, around the rosarita area. not sure.

mexico is too many countries in one... however, from my very personal point of view, tijuana is closer in terms of way of life to the usa than other cities like guadalajara, querétaro, puebla or guanajuato...mexico city is an international city like ny or paris.

No, I've been there a number of times. I'd say my Dad has a house there except their laws for expats means he isn't really allowed to own it....

However, the parts I've seen of it are nice.

Mind you, there are parts I avoid in deference to State Department warnings for American tourists.

I don't care, but anyway I know that is not, because DF is rich, and most Mexico is very poor and dangerous.
