Mat 24:3 And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and will deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted and will kill you. And you will be hated of all nations for My name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will become cold.
Mat 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same shall be kept safe.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all nations. And then the end shall come.
2Ti 3:1 Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand.
2Ti 3:2 For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good,
2Ti 3:4 traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2Ti 3:5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these.
2Ti 3:6 For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts,
2Ti 3:7 ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth.
2Ti 3:8 But as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so these also resist the truth, men of corrupt mind, reprobate concerning the faith.
2Ti 3:9 But they shall proceed no further. For their foolishness shall be plain to all, as theirs also became.
2Ti 3:10 But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, patience,
2Ti 3:11 persecutions, afflictions, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra. What persecutions I endured! But the Lord delivered me out of all.
2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
2Ti 3:14 But continue in the things that you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
2Ti 3:15 and that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
2Ti 3:17 that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.

First of all there is no armegeddon, there is no apocolypse, there is none of that. Eventually the human race might kill itself off but that doesn't mean the world is going to end. (The stupid humans will just be gone.)
Second, the world is not suddenly worse than it was before. Life has always been like this. People throughout history are always saying 'this is the worst it has ever been, this must be the end times'. This is nonsense. The history of the human race has been of bloodshed and ignorance and treachery. It's no different today than it was 100, 1000 or 5000 years ago.
The reason why there is violence and destruction and stupidity is because people buy into the lies and manipulations of the ruling elite. The politicians, the religious leaders, and now - the corporations, manipulate people into hating and worse, being apathetic towards the rest of humanity. People are brainwashed into believing (in america especially) that their spoiled lifestyle has no consequences and is somehow 'good' for the rest of the world. Try telling that to some 8 year old kid working in a sweat shop in Indonesia.
If you want world peace, stop buying into the lies. Reject politics, reject government, reject all -ISMs. (Capitalism, Communism, Fascism) and start working with your family and neighbors to make a better world. When people tell you - 'you need to do this, you need to do that', tell them to piss off and live your own life.
But that's just my opinion.

Well, the hatred in the world started a long time ago, The disobedience of one man and one woman brought sin into the world and the disobedience of Abraham and Haggar brought Ishmael into existence. Ishmael is the father of the Arabs. They are taught to hate from day one of their life. It all boils down to Jesus Christ. They believe a lie that Mohaummed is the only one that can save them. The logic of dying and having virgins set aside for you. What kind of promise is that? Jesus promises eternal joy, peace, love. There is little hope in the eyes of the children anymore. They have been traded for BMW, bigger houses, left alone with no guidance or supervision, no one to talk to but there peers. No hope leads to suicide The Lord said we will know the time is drawing near by the signs. "What is right will be wrong and wrong will be right in the eyes of man" Perfect example: Abortion, God created children as a gift. People kill them. It seems right in there own eyes. We are drawing very near to the end. God does hear the cries of his people. If my people whom are called by my name will humble themselves and turn from thier wicked ways, I will hear from heavan and I will heal there land. We must first repent as a nation.

Turn the TV off. The doom and gloom salesmen have gotten to you.
Odds are, if you focus on your own life and don't concern yourself with all the bad you think is happening that has no direct impact on you, you will discover that life isn't so bad.
The modern life is drastically better than humans had it even just 100 years ago. These are the best of times, not the worst of times.

Gods government is based upon love and free will. Satan's is based upon hate and force. In Mat.-Rev we are told over and over again that this will happen. So, if you are a Bible student, why the surprise? Yes, God hears, and He must let Satan's folly run its course, before He will end it for him (Satan) and all of Satan's followers. Losing our nation identity? WE LOST THAT IN THE VIETNAM WAR, its just taken us a while to figure it out, that is all.

first of all, you need to put all of your burdens in God's hands, you don't need to worry, God will protect you, and if you do die before his coming, just keep faith and keep believing that he will still come, im not saying that u will know everything ewhen u die, u will know nothing, but ur rest will feel like 5 min. tops, but im not telling u to kill urself, we just need to get ready to go to the mountians, and need to keep believing that he is still there, and never leaving us for not even half a second, well that is what everyone has been telling me, i am an adventist and go to church on saturday, everyone is telling me that when the sunday law is inforced, i will have to go to the mountians, u know all adventists, what is ur religion, if u have anymore questions, u can ask me or god to give u a helpful sign or u could just simply read ur biblre, i hope u dont trouble urself about this, god bless

Yes someone can tell you if the end of the world is near but it is not me! I can tell you not to worry because you will move on to your next life and probably be quite happy there! Don't sweat the small stuff!

yes, the end is very near. The things that happen now prepares us to face the end and (hopefully) makes us deal with uncertainty and fear with a positive, spiritual attitude.
