I do pilates and yoga several times weekly. I was considering trying out a new class called N.I.A., but can't seem to find much info on it. I was wondering...has anyone has tried it and what did you think of it? The class is about 45 min from my home and if it's not worth the drive, I don't want to go.

Nia is a fitness practice. A healing technique. And a
lifestyle program. In conventional exercise, the primary concern is about how people look, not
how they feel. People think the only way to get six-pack abs is to suffer for them:
All aboard the Pain Train!
There’s a better way: the Body’s Way. The body is not meant to be abused in
the name of beauty. In reality, the body can become even more beautiful when
you don’t abuse it, but properly use it.
The proper use of the human body is dictated by one primary factor: its
physical design. The body’s major components – including the joints, bones, ligaments,
and muscles – have, in effect, agendas of their own, based upon their
designs. The agenda of the hip-joint, for example, is to move in a circular motion
– rather than to move forwards and backwards repetitively – because its design is
that of a ball and socket. We call this marriage of design and proper use the
Body’s Way.
