Depends on how big the area is. If it is small, you could try some hydrocortisone cream and benadryl over the counter. This should help with the itching. If it is a large area, I would see a doctor for steroids, either a shot or by mouth. If the small area does not get better, see the doctor.

They have lotion for it in the drug store. You can buy it over the counter. Try not to scratch it because it will spread. If you have a swimming pool you could go in there and it will help dry it up. You could also take some bendryl to help with the itching and spreading.

Get Calagel. It is the same a caladryl except is it in clear gel form and it will dry it up quickly and control the itch.

there is this one stuff, called caladryl, and it's in a pink colored bottle, i think it works great, when u are reallly itchy, from poison ivy.

Calmine lotion will help dry it up. Try some benedryl for the itching.
