Do you interact with the person on daily basis? If yes, that's probably why he dreams about you a lot... my dreams always consist of family, friends, and co-workers. It doesn't necessarily means he is attracted to you... but at the same time if he's brave enough to tell you that he dreams about you a lot then maybe he does like you.

And I agree with some of the other answerers...

Ask him... I sometimes DAYDREAM, sometime actually dream, and... sometimes I fantasize.... all of them are a good sign, because it means you're at least "in his thoughts".

It doesn't matter nighttime or daytime. What matters is that he's thinking about you sub-consciously. That's a good thing for you. What that also "probably" means is that he thinks about you when he's awake.
Only but good signs for you. Go for it.

maybe it means he is always thinking about her, not really dreaming but fantasizing ( not necessarily in a sexual way).
