I think it is ok...so many things are so non traditional. I have been married before and now divorced. Now current boyfriend/baby daddy has thrown hints that he wants me to ask him, but not sure I want to do the asking. I think I want him to propose...but not sure he ever will if I dont....I say go for it if you have talked about it. It wouldn't hurt!

That is cool, as long as it won't offend your man. Some men want to do the proposing, but others don't. You know what your man would want. But to answer your question it is just fine for the women to do it.
