I bought my Xbox in the states, and there the voltage is 110V, brought it to europe, and without remembering that the voltage here is 220V,,plugged it in, only to fry it...i did smell something burning and there were sparks..so im sure i burnt it...are there any solutions to this?...can it be saved?....thanx in advance

yes, contact Xbox and reorder a power supply. the web site below gives you a walk through and everything eles you might need.

If its an origanal Xbox then you may need to get a new one, If its an Xbox 360 then you can contact Microsoft and request a replacment if the burn out happend within 90 days after purchase.

hmmmm I am guessing you freid the box. Europe and US voltage to do not play nice together w/ out the proper adapters (ie a universal power adapter) If you did not fry the box, you can get the correct product- contact dell.com - they sell xbox360 products

get a new xbox, once you smell something burning it is a done deal. with 220v in europe you need a new system

No you can't because if you repair it in some days it may have some kind of false of circuit and make a fire. I think you should buy a new cord.If you buy a bigger volt of 220v you can burn your x-box

Go to the local dollar store with the cord, since it detaches, and buy the matching format.

depending on the condition of the xbox you may be able to buy a new one and put the old one in the new box and retun it for your money

if sparks came frome the xbox its fryed but if it is just the cord call microsoft and see if you can get another
