I just started this job and 2 people have talked down to me here and that is something that REALLY pisses me off almost to the point where I've almost said heck with the job and told them off......I almost did.

One guy while training me told me " Bro I just told you how to do that" in a talking down to me tone.

The other lady told me over and over like 5 times about a simple mistake I made I told her I wasn;t told about the new procedure and I wasn;t aware of it and would follow procedure next time. Well this lady kept telling me over and over about the mistake i made. The thing is that the problem was minor. Shes not my boss and the other reps here were asking me " Woh whats her problem today"

Well she pissed me off and I almost told her off...............

Is this normal or am I over reacting.................???

The two people in question have a problem refered to in psychology layman's terms as Little-Man-Syndrome (LMS). They get a little power or control over others and it all goes to there head. The only thing worse than a man with LMS is a woman with LMS! One thing a former boss always told me was that no job is worth that kind of stress and aggravation. It is not good for your heart and it is not good for you mental health either.

You're reaction is actually quite normal. It is one of two ways that humans normally react to such situations. Some will be very hurt and cry. Others become outraged and angry.

As to the one that is not your boss ... she needs to let the mistake go. Let you know once so you can fix it and then move on. I would tell her to let the person who is perfect cast the first stone. She makes mistakes too.

As to your trainer, he needs to understand that not everyone learns at the same rate. Some learn by reading, some by being told and others by practice. In a new job, there is a lot to take in all at once. If he can't handle repeating himself once in a while, then he should not be training anyone. I would tell him that if he could do everything perfect the first time he is told, then he would be God, but since he is working in that office, he obviously is not God.

I used to be the exact same way. Your peace belongs to you, no one can take it from you, but you can give it away. We can't change the way others behave but we can change ourselves. If we change the way we look at things, the things we look at will eventually change. in other words.... change your response to these situation. It really isn't worth your peace. good luck. And always remember to pray ok buddy.

you are over reacting to an extent.. i know interfereince and repeated interference does make u feel annoyed but one has to have control over such things. especially at ur work place

i suggest u to be more patient and try to ignore thing s which doesnt maatter to u instead to reacting to it
