Doesn't anybody watch MythBusters? It does. It just isn't easy to detect.

The well-noted statement that a "duck's quack doesn't echo" is actually a myth, proven by scientists a few years ago. Scientists put a duck in a certain chamber and proved that it's quack does make a slight echo.

its an urban myth ...most species of duck have very distinct sounds ,even in some species both make and female sound completely different .So to say all of the sound that DUCKS make don't produce an echo is a bit ridiculous

It does have an echo, but it is very hard to hear. Watch mythbusters, they proved it.
