After the North American Trade Agreement, lots of American manufacturting jobs have already went to Mexico. The illegal immigrants come for the service jobs that could not be outsource to Mexico, or other countries.

An amusing question. I'm not sure it was supposed to be, but amusing noetheless. ;)

I don't think there are enough American jobs relocating to Mexico to make that much of a dent in Mexico's dire under-employment problem. Also, the biggest employers of illegal immigrants can't relocate. Since they can't move the farms and the service sector jobs to Mexico, there will always be Mexicans and other Central and South Americans coming to the U.S. to fill those jobs.

Besides, while blue-collar jobs have been going south, white-collar jobs have been going to India and China. So I don't see outsourcing as a way to reduce immigration from Mexico.

The answer is no, if they return to Mexico is because 2 reasons, first there are no American jobs in Mexico, they are all in here. second is because when we retire from working all our life for this country we will return to our country Mexico thinking that the American people will thank us for being here for so long doing what they can't do or don't want to do.

No, the American jobs went to Mexico to save money. Lower salaries , illegals do not make the minimum wages everyone believes. There incomes are better here.

I would like to say yes but I highly doubt it. Even though they are here illegally its just too easy for them to get a job paying cash under the table here. Once they are here, they are just glad to be here for the most part, and don't care what kind of job they have to do.

Hmmm...good question. By moving our manufacturing work out of the US, allowing them to pour over the border and drive down wages to do our construction, transportation and service work, etc. I guess it really doesn't matter where they go, we're in deep trouble already and it's not going to get better. Whether they take our jobs here, or take them there either way we lose. It isn't just them, we've sold out to all the cheap labor sources worldwide. :(
