Cucumber with english mustard (the peppery stuff, not the sweet stuff) is a rather tasty combination when put in a sandwich. A good mix of fire and water in your mouth.

Almost every night is a creation at our house. I don't always know what I want for dinner so I just start pulling things out of the pantry and fridg. Some things turn out ok and some things don't. My kids are the first to tell me if it's terrible. Anything with potatoes or rice and I'm pretty save as far as their concerned. Still have problems with chicken and dumplin's though... we call them chicken and dumpy!
Always keep several cans of cream of something on hand. Perfect way to make a "casserole" and most people enjoy.

slice a bagel. Lay the two halves on a cookie sheet. Put a canned pineapple slice on each halp. Top with a slice of cheese. Toast it in the oven. Very Nice.
ALSO
sliced mushrooms and sliced onions sauteed together until; the onions get clear and the mushrooms turn brown makes a nice breakfast.

I bought some fresh squid (head to clean out all the guts and everything) and made a stir fry with it.
Best hardest thing I ever made was a fancy pot roast. Whole house smelled like it for 4 days after (which was a good thing)
