I am looking for places to donate blood. I could not find any blood drives where I live. Can I just show up at the Red Cross HQ? Or at a nearby hospital?

Call your local Red Cross and find out when they have blood drives. Once you have given you are on their list and they will call you again when you can donate. Not before 6 weeks time.

Most places use the Red Cross, if your area doesn't have a blood bank. Call the Red Cross and find out where their donation center is.

Yes, you should just be able to show up at any Red Cross drive or building to donate. I'm not sure if you can donate at a regular hostial tho. You can also look into where the national blood bank is having drives.
