I would certainly hope so, but they can't help if nobody tells them there's a problem. If you are aware of a problem, call them. If they don't do anything right away, call them again. Make a complete pest of yourself until something is done. If you don't and something bad happens to the child, you'll never be able to sleep at night.

yes, most states, if not all have some sort of system that is supposed to protect children. The name may differ, inmost state they are called CPS or child protective servcies, or YFC division' youth and family children divison, or youth, family and children's services.

In Texas the system there is probably just as in need of a overhaul as it is in the other states, but to answer your question, yes, Texas does have a CPS system that helps abused, and neglected kids, now if you aks do they do this all the time, my answer would be no.

CPS all over the country covers all children birth to 17. If you know of a child who needs your help, contact the local CPS. It's anonymous
