The best shampoo and conditioner I have found is Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage thickening. My hair is the same texture as yours so I find that many products weigh my hair down. I have found this to be true even with volumizing products. I use Aveda Phomolliant one or two pumps will work just fine. Blow dry your hair until it is just damp and use a large round bristle (sometimes called smoothing) brush at the roots of the area you want volume. You can also use large velcro rollers if time allows. Get the hair very hot with your dryer and either hit it with the cool shot button or allow the hair to cool completely befor you remove the brush or rollers. This will set your hair. You can always resort to backcombing if nothing else works.

,After shampooing, apply your choice of stying product, and flip your hair over and blow dry the underneath first. Always try to blow dry from the roots to ends drying the roots first. This will make you hair a lot fuller. Hope this helps

Use some shampoo and conditoner that says on it that it is to help make thinner hair look fuller. They have all different kinds at Wal-Mart and Walgreens. Then when you blow dry your hair, flip your head upside down and when its dry flip your head over. That should help some. Good luck! :)

2 tricks that you can do. One is, put gel on the roots of your hair and flip your hair down toward the ground and dry it with a blow dryer. The other is the same trick, but instead of gel use a product called Big Sexy Hair, most stores carry it.

Use products designed for fullness. My personal favorite shampoo and conditioners for volume are Amplify by Marrix. You may also want to try Big Trixx Mousse by Matrix and finally Small Talk by Bed Head. When used together they create maxium volume and lift.

flip your hair over and brush your hair with your face towards your stomach. It also helps make your hair stronger because you are brushing your hair from the roots.
