There are many good sites out there that cover the evolutionary changes in the Peppered Moth. But you would be better to use one of the scientific search engines, rather that the google or msn type, Your school/college/university should have access in some degree to Medline, Merlin, Athens,, or one of the others.

As for the peppered moth, the industrial revolution with its increased production of smoke and grime gave everything in the area a blackened look. Creatures such as the light colored Pepper Moth were easily seen by predators. Over a period of time, the moths colour changed to a much darker version (camouflage) to adapt to its surroundings, The change as such, was not evolutionary, as these moths have since returned to their natural colour. True evolution is a permanant change to characteristic or trait.. Primate to homo sapien.
Hope that is enough to get you started with..

ignore answers that tell you to use wikipedia for homework! Wikipedia, like yahoo answers, is made up of information contributed by anyone and everyone. Whilst that is very good for giving you multiple opinions and allowing freedom of speech, and is incredibly postmodern and fascinating, it is not recognised as a reliable source for homework.
Use these recources as a starting point for your own more detailed research!
