How much are you willing to spend? For about $300 - $400 you can get a Pocket PC. With that you can do almost anything you can on a regular computer - 100's of downloadable games, full internet access, etc. It also will have full email, Microsoft Word, Excel, GPS, ability to watch movies and whatever else you load it with, so you can use it for travel purposes too. For about another $80 you can get a fully collapsable full size keyboard that is awesome, especially if you have a reason to do a lot of typing. Great for business purposes too. The whole system takes up no more room than a cassette tape or a small calculator. I carry mine in a teeny purse.

Hope that helps.

That depends on how much your willing to spend for an entertainment device. Let's say that I am going to Texas from Minnesota, for example. I'm also a big game nut, but do enjoy the occasional movie and some good music. I would get the PSP for it's mega multi-tasking. Or if I enjoyed music more than games, I would get an ipod or an mp3 player. If your a mega gamer, I would get the Nintendo DS, but if your an all around person, I suggest a PSP.

Something that won't cost you alot of money but will keep you busy would be your phone. You can download so many different games it's crazy. That way your not out a ton of money, you don't have to pack anything extra, and it's super handy. It's always a bonus if you can get connected to the internet. With most phones you can. HTH :)

there's a little hand held game based on 20 questions. You think of something and the game will ask you a yes or no question and will try to guess what your thinking of. It is so fun! I was amazed at how often it was right. It'll keep you busy for hours. You can get one at wal-mart or those type of stores. Walgreen's may have one.

Depending if you're a gamer, i'd say a Neintendo device(too many to list), but a portable DVD player sounds good. All you have to do is keep your movies in a cd booklet and they don't take up too much room.

Depending on age, I would select some form of PDA. They can play games, movies, music, keep you organized, can connect via WiFi and don't take up a lot of space.

A portable dvd player or a labtop. The laptop has games and you can even watch T.V. Surfing the net makes time go by so quick.
