If beleiving in him is so important, why doesn't he have a better way to get his word out? The bible is a book. It's written word. It can be translated any way by anyone to fit their interests. Why doesn't he guide us by different means? What about illiterate people? What did they do? There were tons of people who couldn't read in the past centuries.

Swissnick, the website you gave in your sources is ingenious. From a quick scan, it appears to me as if they are trying to show people that anyone can write a book such as the bible, which is the truth.

There is no alternate source for the information besides people who read it and tell you that it's true. Yeah, you can give me some verses from the bible and tell me why everyone should believe, but if those verses are FROM the book, they are void. I mean, if someone wrote about the universe being created by a flying spaghetti monster instead of the bible, that's what you would believe!

Until 1500 AD there only were bibles in the Latin language, so anyone had to believe what the priest said.

Same is still today with classic Arabian in the Islamic world - the people just pray what they are tought to, without understanding any meaning!

Anyway, I don't believe in the "greatest" story book - there is no logic behind, no evidence, nothing.

Make your thoughts by visiting the website suggested.

God has used the best way of getting His word out through intelligence. The more ignorant you are, the more you are farther from the truth and the more you believe in myths. Thus a book comes and it is used and abused to the rulers worldly benefit. Like the water that a murderer drinks to get energy to kill more or the humble man drinks to walk to the mosque to pray. Thus we think and come to the conclusion that science is solely based on cause and affect, thus it must have a beginning. An Originator. You could not say matter always existed b/c that would mean that matter is perfect, or else it would not be eternal. If it is so, then why would a material which is perfect need to change? Unless a higher intelligence initiated the first cause after the creation of matter. God is purely scientific. A child must learn simple math before moving onto algebra. Man's mind has been maturing through time, and each time a document arrived to advance and push it further. With each new document, the previous one become more corrupt with politicians holding onto their power and making any changes necessary to keep their hold on their religion. The difference with the Islamic Holy Qur'an is that it is the miracle of the Prophet and can not be changed and this can be proven. How many book do you know that have not changed in 1400 years? Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the last of the Prophets and that is why we are so advanced now. Why would Europe come out of the dark ages when Islam took over north Africa unless it was influenced?

He does. He has a divine tradition that was set forth by Jesus and protected by the Holy Spirit within the Catholic Church. Furthermore, Christ gave Peter, the first Pope, the authority to declare the truth of faith and morals so it may be dispersed throughout the world. These two things, Authority and Sacred Tradition are included with Sacred Scripture to bring Truth and light to the world.

And you are right that anyone can just change the Bible as they see fit. For instance, it was agreed for 1500 years what the canon of the Bible should include. However, one man with some support decided to remove books which he thought weren't necessary for the Christian doctrine he made up.

Not only are there illiterate people, but there was not canon of the Bible for over 300 years after Christ's death. Tradition of the Holy Spirit and the Authority of the Church were present and are still to continue the revelation of truth to the world.

He/She does have a better way but u won't find it in a book or a high dollar building. You r right the bible is a book man made in every way. That fact alone tells u that is phony.Once u realize the big 3 r lies(Judaism,Christianity and Islam) you will be able to see that God is spread out all around us but man can not see it.They separate themselves from God by the religions they have made that separate them from their fellow man. When the Bible was first copied there was no one to read it no one that could read it 85 -90% of the population was illiterate. They was not any printing press so everything was copied by hand if people don't think that these scribes changed words by mistake at times and on purpose other times they r ignorant. If a scribe is reading something to copy more than likely if he don't like what was said he would just change to what he wanted it to be.We don't have anything close to the original text we don't have a copy of a copy of a copy etc.So look for the truth in the way that god made it for us all to understand through the beauty of the universe and the unconditional love, understanding and forgiveness for your fellow man.God is love

His means for getting His Word out is not a book, but a community: the Church. Yeah, the Bible can be interpreted any which way, but only one way is the correct way. It is the Church that He started that was commissioned to teach the world about Him and to safeguard that faith that He started.

And while it isn't perfect, the Church has done a pretty good job of getting the Word out over the past 1973-odd years. But why did God choose to use us, rather than a "better" way?

I don't know. But I have a feeling it's because He loves us and wants us to be included in His work.

Well, Allah the almighty has in islam because the quran has been unchanged since the day it was revealed, and the first word was 'read',meaning that every muslim should seek knowledge and so no one could remain an illiterate muslim.
Also Allah sent down thousands of messengers throughout time to guide people towards the straight path, this was the first way that islam was spread through knowledge and word of mouth.

You're right, I'd never take any book word for word. Try not to think of God as a person or being of any sort. God is love and love is energy and all that is. And we are guided by different means which is much more reliable than a book of words.

"The five sense world is a mirror through which consciousness can observe itself." So in other words, everything that is happening to you and around you is reflecting what you need to know.

Life itself is your guide.

I think satin should not be confused with satan. that's my main point here. Satin is a wonderful material that looks especially good in the form of a skirt or dress on a leggy woman.
Ok, and as for your question, he doesn't have a good way of gettin his word out because his voice kills humans. Ask the first four Adams about that. Also he gave us choice, so if actually had an angel appear to every sad bloke in the world, that'd be pretty ridiculous and defeats the point of choosing. i choose to ignore his voice until i am depressed. then i ask whatever god is to help me and usually it does.

Actually, the Bible is NOT God's plan for spreading His faith. Christians are. It is up to us to go out into the world and make disciples. (Reading the Book comes later.)

Seems to have been working for Him for over 2000 years. If you have some better ideas in mind, why don't you discuss them with Him??

hello there Actor! God created each thing inclusive of us. what's sturdy? what's the meaning? what's more desirable suitable than what God has created? And if what he has created is impressive then he's the definition of sturdy. :) wish this helps.
