I know someone who was in that and he thought it was b/c he said they worshipped themselves, not satan,...although he studied what is called the Satanic Bible, not to mention other types of those books. I think he even had a statue to worship and do cast spells around. I know that he said he did not worsip Satan, and the web pages about Satanism say that they don't, but I do not believe that. I mean how can you deny God and not be worshipin the devil? Comeon... Well he finally wrote a letter to the church of Satan and that ended that. He was glad that he got out of it but he did say that being in that did empower him to do things well. I do not belive that though, b/c he was on drugs and he got out of the Satanism and them went to rehab. So, no wonder he felt bad and down on himself. It was the drugs, in my opinion, but I guess if a person really believes in something like that than that is just what they think and they may feel empowered. I personally saw a few crazy things happen when I was around him, but I am not sure it was from the devil, but who knows. I know they have these private meetings where they where these black hooded things and do chants and have ceremonies. PLus they really like the full moons. So, how is that not evil--in some way,..I mean that has to be worshiping Satan. He told me that some of them did and some the members didn't.. Whatever! But anyway, he is not longer a member, but he does keep in contact with a couple of those friends.
Don't get into that stuff. It is wrong and evil. Plus it is just a cult out to make you something that you aren't or really do not need to become. BELIEVE ME!

Satanism is a ritualistic religion glorifying the use of dark energy, and promoting the belief that in this temporal life, the only god that you can trust and understand is yourself. Some of the rituals may effectively increace your influence over others or cause misfortune for your competition, but that will put you on shaky karmic ground as any gains you have will be through manipulation of another's will or through clear harm done to another.
It is a religion, and should no more be used to find/secure a better job than any other.
I suggest you read up on it yourself if you want to find out for yourself.

How would be giving your Soul to the devil be empowering? He is weaker than Christ, I know that being a Christian is empowering. Going to Hell just to get a better job? I don't think so. Prayer is the most powerful tool we have.

It is not empowering. It is enslaving. You will have no control of your will. You are ultimately persuaded by desires and yearnings which lead to destruction. It may get you a better job. It won't get you a better life.

Consider: Satan and his servants were creations of God. This by definition made them LESS than God (At least so far, our computers haven't quite taken over). Anyway, his rebellion was doomed from the get-go (the finite vs. the infinite). Why would you give your loyalty (and soul) to the BIGGEST LOSER in history! Try working a little harder and especially a little smarter!

Practicing Satanism is nothing more than reassuring yourself that's it's ok to persue your self interests.
To the extent such reassurances empower you, sure.

Yes it can get you any Earthly thing that your heart could possibly desire, at a small cost to you, YOUR Everlasting SOUL. What is more important to you 40 years in a better job, or an eternity in pain.

Yes if God permits him. I would not recommend you go that way though. Those who work with Satan work for Satan and will suffer with Satan in the lake of fire.
