The sloth from south America. It hangs from tree branches using giant claws on all 4 feet. The centre parting in its fur runs along its belly and its fur runs from its belly towards its spine, so that when it rains the water drips off. Its the opposite way round to dog or cat fur.
The Giant Anteater, also from S.A. Its front feet have a giant claw for digging up ants nests, when its not digging the claw folds back against its foot, like a folding knife. Its jaw and mouth have adapted into a long tube shape, its teeth have become flat grindstones. Its tongue is very long and sticky, for catching ants.

The duck billed platypus have evolved a fleshy beak to dabble in the mud and under stones for its food. Its the only venomous mammal, and it lays eggs.

The duck billed platypus. Exclusive to Australia, it's one of 5 species of monotremes, that is, a mammal who lays eggs as opposed to live young. The males have a venomous spur on its hind legs. It also has an adaption called electroception which allows it to locate prey using the prey's body electricity. Rare in mammals.It also has one of the lowest metabolic rate of any mammal.

There are fish that live in caves that have no eyes. They had no need for eyes in their dark environment, so they adapted. Many other animals that live in caves have no pigment, either. What good is color when it can't be seen?
