well it does have water content, but you really should try to drink just plain old water. Vimto has sugar and additives. H20 is the way to go!

Would you flush your toilet with syrup?
Your Kidneys NEED that water, in it's purest form to help flush out all the rubbish in your blood stream.
Diluted Vimto is better than not drinking, but it won't do the same job as water.

It's a good attempt, but sadly no.
Vimto is also a diuretic which steels some of the goodness that you get from water. Along with the water that you get in food, and possibly tea & coffee (if you drink that), you are certainly doing better than most people.
Try using less & less vimto until you are onto pure water.
keep it up & good luck

Anything you drink in a day counts towards re-hydration. If drinking cordial makes you drink enough then do it. If you get seriously de-hydrated the medics will put you on a drip with sugar and salt in it.
Too much "pure water" can wash out your electrolytes like when you get the squits. Then you'll need re-hydration salts.
Just drink something - all day. By the time your lips are dry you are already dehydrated.

no, all the rubbish in the Vimto will need the water just to flush it away, therefore negating the benefit.

you should drink water in small sips till your urine runs clean - then you actually understand you have become adequate. in my opinion I drink between 2 and three liters an afternoon yet then I do run 3 miles an afternoon too - so i'm in all likelihood thirstier than somenoe who does no longer exercising. wonderful needs Kez x

whatever your weight x .5 =s our daily oz intake for water. whatever drinks you have, you need to drink an = amount to flush your system. so if you're 100 lbs you need to be drinking 50 oz minimum daily. you drink 2 liters of vim to so on top of the 50 oz you need to add at least 2 more liters of water. have an 8oz cup of coffee? add 8 oz of water. if you ever feel thirsty, you're nowhere close to your necessary water intake.
