A keg of beer (1/2 keg) is about 6.8 cases, so approx. 165 beers. The next size is a quarter barrel, which I assume hold half as much. A keg costs differently depending on the beer. Around me the cheapest keg is natty light at about $32. So I'd say a keg can cost anywhere from $30-upwards of $150. Also factor in a $10 deposit (which you can get back when you return the keg, or use to reduce the price of your next keg). If you don't own a tap they usually cost around $20-30 to rent for the evening.

120 US pints (16 oz drinks)
160 12 oz drinks
A full size keg holds 31 gallons. A half keg which is used is most common holds 15 gallons. A pony keg holds about 8 gallons. Prices vary buy type of beer. Your domestic beers are going to run cheaper than your import beers.

There are different sizes~anywhere from 5 to 15 + gallons~so the cost varies as well from about $60.00 to $160.00 depending on which beer you chose. Don't forget to get a tap~~~you can rent one where you get the keg or buy one to keep for the next keg party~~~~

well you have a couple of sizes.... you have your 1/4 barrel and your 1/2 barrel and also you have your and a 1/6 barrel and pending on where you live and if you can get them at a beer distributor depends on how much one will cost and also if there is a deposit on the barrel.. If you buy one at a regular beer (convenience) store then it will be more expensive because of there markup price from where they purchase it from... I hope this kinda helps you.... I can not really tell you the exact price because they vary...
