You are right. They are the awfullest thing I have ever heard of. They are not Christian, I am a Southern Baptist and I promise you that is not a God-blessed church. They should be jailed. God is not be pleased with them. They are what's called lunatic fringe. What is really hurtful is that all these Christian bashers judge Christians by them. God says precious in His sight is the death of His saints. He welcomes each Christian home. It is a terrible wrong that they are doing. Please don't judge real Christians by these people, they are not Christians.

Their basic premise is that the US doesn't actively persecute gays enough, so we are complicit in promoting gays. And the military is the worst because they are fighting for this gay-loving country. Doesn't make any sense to me either. Their protests are based n teh First Amendment freedom of speech and expression. I would be sorely tempted to exercise MY freedom of expression and beat the stuffing out of them if it were at a funeral of my relative. I'll send some good vibes your way for your husband. He and the rest of the military deserve all the support we can give.

The first ammendment - allowing free speech - you can say just about anything about anyone and get away with it under the 1st.

But I agree its annoying. Expecially as the troops they are protesting are the ones that allow them to be able to do that. Lets see them go and protest in a middle eastern country . lets just say I think you would not see it happen again (or them appear again!)

For the same reason you can call our president bad names and not get put in prison. It's the downside of not living in bondage to a dictator.
