I met this guy on the net! I really really like him! and he says he really likes me! problem is he lives in Orlando,FL and I live in Mooresville,NC! I am going to Fl in July and he wants to meet up...should I or no?! PLZ help and I only want serious answers! P.S I am 18!

I have talked to him on the phone several times and I have viewed pics and his cam!! but I still fell kinda iffy!

How long have you two been talking? If you both like each other that much and have been talking for awhile you should feel comfortable, not "iffy" If you're feeling that way, then you shouldn't meet him. Our intuition can be pretty dead on most of the time.
I think it's good that you are thinking this through. I know it's tempting to meet him, but it's better to be safe than sorry. If you're going to go, please don't go alone. Bring your friends, not just one but all of them, and don't necessarily tell him you are going to. And if you're going to Florida with your parents, offer for him to have dinner with y'all and if he's still willing to meet you I think that's a good thing, but if he trys to get you alone... big red flag!

Just playing the averages, the guy is probably on the up and up. There are more success stories than horror stories, however the horror stories certainly get more publicity. The most important thing for you to do if you are going to meet this guy is protect yourself.
Whenever you are meeting someone for the first time, regardless of whether you are meeting someone locally or travelling to visit, meet in a public place with lots of people. Do not let him know where you are staying and do not meet at his house. The person is a complete stranger to you despite the amount of time you have spent online or on the phone talking with him. If he is legitimately interested in you, he will understand and agree for exactly the same reasons.

If you met him on the net, he could be different than he says. If you are determined to meet him, meet him in a public place where you feel safe. Long distance romances are difficult to keep going. I think I would find someone closer to home---NC is a big place. Must be plenty of guys out there just looking for someone like you.

Holy crap thats dangerous!!! If you haven't seen a picture or talked on the phone its still dangerous. I know because I've met some crazy women from the internet. If you are really headstrong about meeting him then meet in a public place that you can have other people identify with you. Just be cautious, us guys will say the darndest things to get some.

If you do, meet in a public place with backup (i.e. - friends). You never know if people are who they say they are. If you've been completely honest, then all you can do is hope for the same. But be very careful. That's why I say public place - so plenty people our around - and back-up so that if he doesn't go away quietly, you've got help.

Be careful always. I have no prob with a trip just make sure you cover all your bases. Tell people where your going where your staying. Get his contact info,before you go so you can pass it on to your family Hope it works out for you good luck

Bring someone with you (another girl hopefully so he doesnt think poorly of you) so if anything goes wrong, you can get help fast. Have a cell phone with you with friends or family on speed-dial and after all of that stay safe.

i probably wouldnt. did u see the boy on oprah the other day? if not he met some people on the internet that he tought were his friends but were actually frauds that told him to come see them in vegas. but when he got there he found out that had been tricked and he was raped over and over again until he actually had to go into hiding so they couldnt do anything to him the bad thing about it is he was about ur age! so i may not do that if i were you!!!

Well, if you think he's a serious guy and you could make it out, you should meet him, but if you think he's a little jurk and he might harm you then you better not.Otherwise why noT...?
