Ear piercings are ok but I can't understand why someone would want to put holes in other areas of their bodies. Even ears can get infected but at least the risks are small. With other body piercings, the chances of infection are higher (i.e. the tongue because of all the bacteria in the mouth) and the healing can take longer if infection occurs. I don't know why someone would want to take that risk. I've seen people with large ugly scars because infection set in and took so long to heal.

I love piercings they allow people to express themselves. I have 7 body piercings and I also have 6 piercings in my left ear and 4 in my right. Piercings are like tattoo they are addictive. I also find piercing on a man attractive because it says he is not afraid to express himself.
