Well sometimes a guy says that without thinking, either hes done everything he can do to get the panties and i love you is a last resort, or he's trying to keep you on board while he does his thing with other girls, or he might actually love you, the only way to tell between the three is time.

I don't say it just to say it. As a matter of fact I've never said it to someone other than family. You have to get a feel for a guy. Does he always do what he said he will do. If you call him a liar does he gets pretty pissed about it and later you find out he wasn't lying, that should show you his word means something to him. Typically men like that Say what they mean and almost always mean what they say. Just observe his behavior when it comes to little things. hey I call you at 10 and well figure something out. Does he do it or give you an excuse the next day. I'll help with the dishes and he kind of dries one dish or he gets down and dirty and cleans the kitchen. If it's the latter then when he says that he means it, if he doesn't keep word with anything else then he's trying to fool you. Weak men do that.

I think they say it to get what they want most of the time, but in the other hand u also need to give everyone the benefit of a doubt you never know. You will c that on your own if he is being real or no t by his actions, and what do you fell about his honesty. Just be careful a broken heart is not easy to deal with so be careful and don't get hurt. Good luck

Some just say it to be saying it. They say it for many reasons, to get you to drop the drawers or to get you to feel a certain way about them. only time in a relationship will tell if they really love you or not. Dont rush love, in time both people in the relationship will know when it's right or not!

Some guys say it just to get in your pants. They do this because it works, a lot. I don't. I didn't say I love you to any woman until I knew I was going to marry her. I am 33 and I have said that to just one woman in my life, well, other than my mom and sisters and my aunt, but that's different.

Most guys think that girls are extremely mushy and hellbent on commitment and love... therefore they try to provide the illusion of love in order to further the relationship for their own purposes.. namely sex.
