No. God is not tangible. If you would like to have a personal relationship with God, maybe you should ask about it in the nearest church. Talking to the pastors there could be extremely helpful. Also, maybe just listening to some Christian radio stations could be a good start. Having a personal relationship with God takes time and effort though, just so you know. Good Luck!! I hope you have a personal relationship with God by the end of your journey!

I think that's a great question... I would like to see a serious answer as well...
I know in all my personal relationships, I get something back for what I put into the relationship (I at least expect an attempt at answers to my questions)...
I think most people have a very one-sided relationship with god... what's he/she/it ever done for me? i mean really done, not things that are only explained by faith or dogma...
Anyone else ever found it odd that if someone said they were communicating with aliens on a daily basis they would be committed, but someone says they talk to god on a daily basis and no one thinks anything about it? It's the same thing people.

First of all, the question you should answer for yourself is, who is God, what is God? How can you have a relationship with one who you do not know? God is not a physical person, although he can make himself into anything because he is everything! The bible says he is everything seen and everything unseen...that means he is everything! I know it seems strange because as humans we tend to see everything as physical. God is more like what our soul is, you can't see it, but it is there....like air. It is a bit complicated but I'll explain it the best way I think you can understand. When God breathed his breath into us, that gave us life, which is basically the soul. Our soul is a "part" of God, not seperate from God! Seperating us from God is like trying to seperate air. Your soul has existed since God existed and will exist as long as God does, which will be forever! When you have feelings, that is your soul...not your thoughts. When you have feelings, your soul is talking to you and so is God. God is always there. He is with you as much as he is with anyone on this earth, so no need to be jealous...everyone is a part of God...and God is a part of you. You do not have to see him, hear him or go to church to have a relationship with him. When you think and feel, he thinks and feels what you do. He is everywhere, not an old grey haired man sitting up in heaven in a big chair, looking down on Earth and judging everyones life! Remember, there is a whole universe that contains God, not just this earth. I believe once you learn what God is, you can have a better understanding of a relationship with him. Hope this helps you understand. Humans tend to think only in physical terms, things they can see and feel. If you see God as more than your "greatest parent" you can understand who he is and what he does. We are here for God's purpose...God is not here for our purpose.

WOW I am so thankful that you are know a child of God. But, I'm sorry to say that I'm not sure if you REALLY accepted God.
Once we could be with God and everything was perfect. Then sin came and we could no longer be with God because we have sinned and are no longer pure.
God in his infinite love sent his only son who died EVEN THOUGH HE WAS BLAMELESS .
Christ Jesus then rose from the dead and conquered death HE IS ALIVE! NOW we can live in his infinite love and power because if we want to have a eternal relationship with God in heaven ,we can!!!!! Just pray that he'll save you , know that you have sinned and ask for his forgiveness.
Now, for your question, no we don't see Him on Sundays. To communicate with him we pray and to have a more fulfilled relationship with him we go to church. AH! stop!! Now listen, church is not boring okay!!!!!!!!! I would suggest finding a medium sized church (NOT Catholic or latter day saints ( I don't have anything against them but you won't get answers there and the Latter day saints aren't REALLY quite Christians))Try baptist or Conservatives or something like that. THEN ask for a bible study and explain that you want to learn more about Christ.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU MY NEW BROTHER IN CHRIST!!!!!!!!!
SEE YOU IN HEAVEN!!!!!!!!

You do not have God in your life because your heart is not sincere. No, God does not send me emails or write me letters but he does something better. He answers my prayers, protects my family, bless my life, gives me health, grants me peace, touches my soul and gives me joy. I pray that you will truly accept God and let him into your life. Your life will never be the same.

Keep asking God to reveal Himself to you in prayer, your persistence will pay off if you truly desire to Love God and want to humble yourself before Him. God doesn't send Christmas cards to us(although that would be pretty cool) but He communicates to us through His Holy Spirit. It sounds like He is trying to get your attention now if you are feeling jealous. God loves even you, Jim Darwin, please don't give up on Him.

I like that question. A lot of Christians claim they have this personal relationship but have no clue about this "God". They know nothing of his personality, what he likes or dislikes, where he goes out to eat nor do they really care. All they care about is that he died so they can go to heaven. It is really shallow in my opinion. I think that "God" guy's gonna disown them because they don't know him.

I believe that every time I look for Him, He is there. He has spoken to me, if He hadn't I'd have died 22 years ago. He said He'd help me, when every one else said you're very sick. I am very "sick" I Know He's Here. I hope you will never be in the hell I was in. But then ... Enjoy your journey. Peace and Love

No one knows how God looks like, but sure I don't humanize God, for He is NOT human
Holy Qur'an: "There is nothing like unto Him"
-I don't celebrate Christmas.
