I know exactly how much money I had in my wallet because the money was for a payment and her 20 was put away in my bedroom IO had exactly 145 dollars in my wallet and got to where I make the payment and 20 was missing I was embarrassed and had to go to my husbands workplace to ask him for more money after him and I both counted the cash this morning.....

I would just make general comments that you're missing the money and maybe, this girl will get the hint and fess up or she might just say something like"Oh, I found this money the other day" .....And if this does not work, I suggest you keep your purse under lock and key until the remainder of the visit is over and not watch this girl again.

That's hard, but don't "blame" her until you know for sure. Did you check the pockets on everything you were wearing when your friend gave you the money? Do you have other kids in the house? Did you take a good look around the house? Maybe write an announcement and post it on the fridge:
Attention all who live here: I've lost $20 and I'd like to have it back. Please keep your eyes open and return it to me asap. Upon the return of the $20 there will be ice-cream for all.

Or whatever. Good luck!

is she the only child in the house? wait and see if she is buying stuff that you know she doesn't have the money for. and you have an 11 year old for 2 weeks, and she only gave her 20 bucks to spend? that's not very much!! you should just ask her, hey I have 20 dollars missing have you seen it?

Don't blame her unless you acually saw her steal it. She's a kid and you never know if you find it later. You could make a game of it. Tell her that you will give her a dollar if she finds the 20. And then go to another room so that she can't see you. If she finds the 20 quickly, then you know she had it.

THE TRUTH IS VERY CLEAR. THE GIRL KNEW IT VERY CLEAR AS TO THE AMOUNT WHICH WAS GIVEN TO YOU TO BE SPENT ON HER. AND THE GIRL GOT UPSET BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT HANDED OVER THE MONEY, SHE MAY HAVE REQUIRED FOR HER NEEDS; SHE EXERCISED HER RIGHT TO TAKE EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT, NOTHING LESS NOTHING MORE, HONESTLY.YOU CAN ONLY MAKE HER UNDERSTAND THAT SHE SHOULD HAVE ASKED THE MONEY.

Just ask her. You can ususally tell if a child is lying. The body language is the key factor, and they usually cannot look you in the eyes. Trust me you will know if the child is lying to you.

Just take her aside and ask her. Let her know that if she admits it and gives it back that no one will know but you and her. Remember, 11 Year olds are easily guilt-ed into the truth.

Im no expert, by any means, my kids are just young. But before making her feel like your accusing her, just say, "you nkow, i had 20.00 dollars here yesterday, now i can seem to find it, have you seen it? make it non threatening...and she may fess up.... thats all i can think of.

Don't throw any blame at her until you have proof, then hide all of your stuff that may be of value until she leaves.
