I have gone out with a few people since living in Austin, and I never seem to get past the first two dates, it is either A) My age... or B) They want strictly a sexual relationship. Is there anyone out there who truely wants to be in a loving relationship? Or am I just waisting time trying to keep myself open for someone like that? Don't get me wrong sex is great, but I would really like just one person. Anyone have any dating advice on how to pick quality people?

Thats an Excellent thinking you have got. but it has been a bad luckfor u while u chose people for yourself. You always select people who dont have feelings in themselvs. They must be just looking out for their Lust.
TIP FOR PICKING QUALITY PEOPLE :-
1. Trust is the base of True Friendship and Love.
2. Be friend first.
3. Know the other person as much as u can.
4. If he is really good to ur knowledge then make him feel special.
5. Make him feel how much you care for him.
6. If U like him then ask him what r his feelings for you, so that you understand what he thinks abt u.
7. If he is Geniune then he will never hurt u. Nor can he see u depressed and crying.
8. Dont run behind the person whom u like, Accept the person who Loves you truly and can express his feelings for u as u want to be for him.
Its time consuming but its safe and easy. Bcause Friendship is the first step of Love and easy step to know if u r having a perfect person with u.

Probably the first two guys are nice guys but you may have presented yourself the wrong way. Appear as loving yourself, one who knows what she wants in life, not a sex machine and you will be respected and you will be able to turn a sex maniac guy into a quality person. Learn to say " NO " for sometimes when it comes to sex.

Just be yourself. When the right one comes along you'll have that loving relationship. Age is a measurement the same as a bustline, if the bum can't see beyound either have him move on. I'm sure you have qualities a man would be interested in. The best of luck to you LovinIt.

Because some men are just terrible. It is very hard to find that special one that will commit to you.
The next thing is how much do you value yourself. Could it be your attitude and demeanour that is giving guys the wrong impression about you, which makes them only want sex from you. Are you too 'easy'?
Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to get into bed with your dates. Hold out for a while and see how that goes.

Dont show u are needy or in urgency of any male partner.Be vague and concentrate on communication and compatibility issues.Talk which entrust u both towards a true friendship than lust.Be very direct and clear in maintaining a distance who want nothing but a physical relationship.

Maybe you're looking in the wrong place to meet people. If you're going out to bars or clubs, the kind of people you'll meet there aren't the type that are looking for long-term serious relationships.
