If you are over 18 leave. under 18 dont engage in conversation where your opinion will surface. If they want to a have a real conversation with you they will have to understand that you have an opinion.

Now if you are just injecting your opinion where ever you think it needs to go I would recommed you grow up and STFU.

It sounds like you have to learn how to tactfully state your opinion.

"The truth is something that everyone expects, what they rarely want, and what they rarely get."

I think the "I'm pretty stubborn" says a lot also. At your age, you can expect to be wrong quite a bit. This is because you get your information, and normally only trust information from people your own age, instead of people who have accurate information. Ask yourself this question: "How much value would you put in the opinion of an 8 year old?" "and why?" There is the same amount of mental growth between the 8 year old and you, as there is between you and your parents. You can't see it because you are still young. You can however see the difference between you and an 8 year old. The 8 year old can't see the difference either because of HIS age and experience. The best course of action would be to learn how to listen and learn. Take a lesson from the ancient Spartans: Don't speak, unless you are going to say something worth hearing.

Age cannot help but come to you. No matter what you do, you cannot stop it. So enjoy the times you have now, without the responsibilities, stresses, and pressures of having to be on your own and being responsible for other people. Those times will be upon you soon enough.

insist on your opinions and yell too!i have the same situation they never admit their mistake...so try to over yell them because that´s the only way that helps...or just smile like an idiot into their faces that will absolutely piss them off!!!
