Obviously my husband got it wrong. I can't find CH anywhere. We are waiting for Dr call back, and he has an appt next week. They did mention something about cancer insurance!!!!!!

Hubby got it wrong. It is CEA levels 2 is normal for a smoker, his is 9

I'm not familiar with any labs that have CH levels. The value 9 doesn't make sense for Cholesterol or CK. Are you sure this is what it says? The only thing close I know of is the CH-50 but the normal range is 75-300.

CEA levels are something they check for in relation to cancer.... CEA stands for "carcinoembryonic antigen", and its presence in abnormally high amounts is related to some forms of cancer (lung, breast, colorectal). Other conditions may also raise CEA levels, such as pancreatitis, liver cirrhosis, and several others.

Only thing I can think of is cholesterol, but then those numbers wouldn't be right. Could it have been CRP?

are you sure it was ch? i'm not familiar with that and i'm a nursing student and used to be a phlebotomist.
