Love is an emotion, not an entity. It has been personified in myth and literature (Eros, Aphrodite, etc.), and people have surrounded the act of procreation with it. I don't think love is self aware, but people are aware of it. Care must be taken to differentiate between "love" and "infatuation." The latter is common, the former is less so. However, genuine love is perhaps the most positive and possibly divine emotion out there!

I don't really know what a Positive or a Divine entity is so I'll just tell you my definition of love. I belive, in a way, it is alive. Love is a being that moves from one person to another, leaving a droplet of love. If that person can properly succumb to it, then he/she will experience true love which consists of respect, devotion, and a bunch of mixed emotions. Love is alive. But it depends on whether you nurture it or ignore it.

Love to me is like floating on a cloud. it is the most positive and also can be the most emotional experience you can imagine. It can both hurt you and make you happy. God gave his only begotten son because he LOVED us.
