I don't know why so many roadblocks, baby, but you still need to see a counselor. And if one doesn't help, seek out another one.
Pray about it. Pray for God's help in finding a good counselor and in developing a good relationship with him/her.
You need the support. Does your local hospital have a support group? That's a great resource, too.
You continue to be in my prayers.

You NEED rape counseling! Just keep trying! It probably does have a lot to do with living in a small town that has fewer resources, but don't give up. Is there a larger town you could drive to, if necessary? Find some rape counseling websites and see if they can offer suggestions. Go to www.about.com--they have forums for people suffering from depression for a variety of reasons and you'll find support and encouragement from others who were raped or otherwise abused. If you feel like killing yourself, call 1-800-SUICIDE and they can direct you to further resources in your area.
Prayer will not help, and God will not help. If God were able to help you, HE WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THE RAPE FROM HAPPENING! God does not exist, or else he couldn't be bothered to prevent you from being assualted and made to feel like you want to die. Either way, belief in God is useless and will only add on the guilt. Take control of your own life and get some REAL help.

Oh Honey, it is not in His nature to deny you help. Please do not be discouraged, you are so important to Him. This awful experience seems so daunting, but there is hope. Do not give up. Keep seeking help, find someone to listen. It won't make the hurt go away, but it will help you deal with it.
Do you have a crisis center anywhere near by? If not, then try a church or a school counselor or any adult you trust...since you have computer access, do a search for rape crisis intervention or counseling in your area, just don't let this take your life, your future away from you.

dear trinity, please don't give up on finding counseling..God wouldn't dare deny you help when you really need it...if you go to church, they may have a licensed counselor there who could help you...keep knocking and the door will be opened. but don't give up, it's not safe. learn and know the heart and ways of God so you won't be faced with these questions and hard decisions...when you know him, you'll know what he wants for you...and take that appt. in august...if you tell them that you are thinking of harming yourself, alot of clinics will let you come in that day...and some doctors offices have there own psychologists...that prescribe medicine and counseling..there is a way..keep searching...

I will keep praying for you. Ask a pastor, they might have a pastors wife or some other woman you can talk to. Please be patient and wait on the woman to come back from vacation. She may be able to do the whole thing from the phone. Or she might be able to pull some strings and get you the perfect counselor within 30 miles of where you live. Don't give up please. email me @ followingmyjesus@earthlink.net
Prayers and blessings! Daisy

No! Don't give up and please complain about these so call crisis centers. It is their job to be there for you. Go to your church, call other help lines, try to get a personal counselor, but do not rest quietly. You do not have to live with the pain. Find a way to make yourself feel good again. God bless you and be with you!

God would never tell you to not get help for a serious problem. Maybe He is just testing you. He could be making it hard for you so that you know how much you really want to get help. Definitely keep trying. There is someone who can help you. Maybe you just haven't found it yet.

It's not God who's trying to keep you from getting help. He wants you to get help. It's the evil one who's trying to keep you from getting help. Keep persevering. Keep trying to get help. Keep praying. I'm praying for you. Good for you for looking for help. Keep trying. You may want to try and talk to a pastor you feel comfortable with if you can't get to a psychologist right away. A pastor would be willing to help you and pray with you any time. And don't pay any attention to the idiots who are trying to discourage you. I'm praying for you, sis.
