Lucifer was the first to commit sin and he was cast out of heaven onto the earth. He committed the sin of pride. Ezekiel 28: 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Adam was the first man to commit sin. He eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil when God told him not to. Genesis 2: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Because Adam sinned death by sin pass on all men. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Eve was the first to be deceived, but Adam knew better. 1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Many say the Original Sin was pride. According to the Book of Genesis Eve and Adam were beguiled by the serpent into taking the forbidden fruit because they believed him when he said it would make them as gods.

Personally I don't buy it. After all, they already had God's promise of greatness if they kept the Garden according to His Will.

No, what got 'em into hot water was the promise that instead of bustin' their B...s in a garden (have YOU ever done any gardening? That's bloody hard work!), all they had to do was eat the fruit.

Obviously the original sin was SLOTH! It's pride that keeps us from accepting that nasty little fact.

The first sin committed in the Bible is when Eve gave her attention to Satan and listened to the serpent. Her second sin was unthankfulness to God for what he had done for them. Her third sin was thinking that God was keeping something good from them and the fourth sin is that she became proud thinking that she could become like God. It was after these four sins that she ate the fruit that God told them not to eat from. (I.e it was not an apple).

Eve committed the first sin. She ate the fruit when God said "thou shalt not".

It is also where the blame game started..

Man blamed the woman,
Woman blamed the serpent and,
The serpent didn't have a leg to stand on.

LET US CLARIFY>> for your edification
Satan didn't commit the first sin. It was man who brought sin into the world.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(Romans 5:12)

Adam and Eve..they ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge..which was forbidden.

They become greedy and too curious..they could eat of anyother tree..but, choose to dis-obey God.

Like many of us..we are not content with what God, has given us, we want more, and more..and forget God's laws, and we suffer for our bad choices.

God is a jealous God, but, he is also a forgiving God.

Eve, however the sin wasn't eating the apple, it was disobeying God's command.

Basically, Adam and Eve disobeyed God by doing what God told them not to do. They ate from the tree.
