I agree with you. The Constitution gives everyone the right to religious freedom, and that means people are going to believe different things about God and the Bible (if they believe anything at all). God, like every parent, gave us rules and consequences and ability to make choices. I would not have an abortion, it's not right for me. But my beliefs should not keep someone else from making a choice for themselves.
Here's how I look at this ~ and I feel the same way about gay marriage: If you consider it a sin, DON'T DO IT. If someone else makes a choice for themselves, it's their choice to live with. God will handle it, it's His job.

I agree that a woman should be able to choose what they do with their bodies, but it isn't their body they are terminating, it is the body of another individual. They may have created that individual but that doesn't mean they have the right to take it's life back.
On the other hand I do NOT think abortion should be against the law because I believe if the mothers health or life is at risk by carrying that child, the woman should be chosen. Her death will effect far more people than the death of an unborn child. I also support it when it is proven that the child will be born with a serious disease or disabilty. Why bring a person into the world to suffer?
But I do not support abortions just because the mother doesn't want a child or can't support a child at the time. There are thousands of people out there who would love to adopt a baby, why not give that child and another family the chance to be happy?
So I guess you could say I am pro-choice depending on the situation and pro-life if it is just a matter of convience for the woman who wasn't careful enough in the first place.

Abortion is wrong because a baby has rights. A baby is NOT part of a woman's body and having an abortion is absolutely in no way an issue of a woman doing something with her own body. This is an intentional deception and one that covers up basic common sense and human decency. Would you crush a 1 year old baby's skull and cut up the body to throw it out with the trash, just because it became inconvenient? What is a reasonable response by a society if one of its members decides it's OK to do that? Is that a personal choice issue? Is the morality of that act, subjective? If not, then what makes you think it is any different when that is done as part of a third tri abortion (something the pro-abortion crowd has aggressively defended). How far back do you go before doing that to a baby in a woman's womb no longer represents this type of act. What criteria is there for deciding this? The truth is there is none. Abortion is exactly the same as killing a 1 year old baby and desposing of its body just because you want to. That is heinous evil. And ALL societies have the right to prevent its members from engaging in heinous evil...AT THE POINT OF A GUN IF NECESSARY. That's called law. Where there is no law, the alternative is...unpleasant.
Further, the pro-abortion crowd, more and more, is being revealed as only existing to influence society in such a way that more and more abortions are performed. In other words, the point is not protecting a woman's interests. The point is killing as many babies as possible. Why? Because if people become so dehumanized that killing babies is common place and done without remorse or a second thought, these people will accept anything. Anything at all. And what the proponents of abortion want people to accept is marxism. And marxism has a great many sick things that always take place wherever it takes root. These include but are not limited to the intentional genocide of hundreds of millions of innocent people, slavery for the rest, breakup of family as the way to raise (in this case, indoctrinate) children (this is what Hillary Clinton means when she says, it takes a village), living in incredible squalor and desperate fear as a way of life etc.
Abortion is really not the issue at all. The pro-abortion crowd really doesn't care about the abortion issue (notice the democrats abandoning it as an issue). The issue is marxism and all the incredible depraved evil that represents. If you engage in abortion, not only are you committig an act of despicable, depraved evil, you are helping people far more evil than you to take over and create hell on earth. You deserve what you get from that.

I think that you do get the abortion debate and the reason why you think you aren't getting it is because all those people who believe that abortion is "wrong" is based just on their own feelings which they have a right to have. I don't feel abortion is wrong in the 1st trimester. But I think they are just trying to say they believe God thinks it is, which they have no proof only an opinion. I question that theory because they put so much emphasis on the human life, even when it is a mere cluster of cells , yet go hunting and paying the meat industry to painfully kill so many animals for food claiming we need it to survive which is not true. I think they are not truly compasionate, but suffer from their own personal issues that the issue of abortion brings up for them. Is a human life worth so much in the face of horrific pain and long term isolation and torure of an animal. What are they doing to help the children of the world who are starving? Are they spending equal time and resources saving the people we have now? Or is it just about a deeper issue for them? I would say that killing is a horrible thing to do to anyone, person or animal, but I would also say that torture, abuse, and imposing your beliefs in a punitive way can cause much more pain and suffering to the innocent. I would argue that God dosen't want that either if that is the case and that abortion would be the lesser of the two evils.

The problem isnt abortions, the problem is partial birth abortions.. Thats where the doctor induces labor on a fetus and keeps its neck in the mother until it chokes and dies, then the doctor takes a big needle and scrambles the baby from the brain down. Then he pulls out whats left. The the clinic sells the aborted stuff to research labs and makes money. Liberal jerks keep confusing the stupid people that the conservative right is trying to stop all abortions. Only a percentage of religious groups even care about 1st trimester abortions. The libs like Hillery Clinton pretend like they care about womens rights when all the care about are tricking people into voting for more democrats so they can lie to you about other things, like the death penalty is wrong because you shouldnt kill people, but abortions are ok because the baby is just a piece of property inside a woman. Why dont the losers buy condoms instead of having abortions because the kid is "inconveinient", they could save hundreds of dollars!!!!

well, I will tell you why I feel it is wrong,
I agree when you said that everyone has the right to decide.. Well, the key word here is EVERYONE.The baby is a person to, no matter how much people would like to think it isn't, we all know it is. And I am pretty sure it would like a say in it to. Wouldn't you?
To me is has nothing to do with choice, because i feel they gave that right up, when they made the choice to have sex. You know if you do it, there is a chance, so nothing else can be said.
If they choose to abort, it is still murder, If you kill, a living creature, with a beating heart, and it is, it is murder....
The child cannot speak, or plead, and cannot make his own choice.
Adoption should be the only alternative to this. If you do not want to raise the child, fine, but give it a choice to live, don't just hand it a death sentence....

I am pro-choice and my main reason for being pro-choice is not because I believe people have the right to decide what to do with their bodies but because we live in a depraved and debased world in which women are victims of rape and incest. Would I have the baby if it was conceived as a result of rape? I don't know. The baby would have my genes as well. But I'm an adult. There are many GIRLS that are victims of rape and incest. Should they be forced to face further physical and emotional scars as a result of their rape? Should anyone? And what about situations in which the mother's life is in danger if she does have the baby? Ectopic pregnancies, in which the fertilized egg attaches to an area outside of the uterus. Should women try to carry these to term?
There are so many issues that stem from abortion. Do I think it's right that people will have irresponsible sex and abort a baby? No. And I think partial birth abortions are horrible. But banning abortion altogether is a bad idea. There are too many "what if" situations out there.

The reason why people think they can make choices for other peoples bodies is becasue those people are realy that ARROGANT and that judgemental. Ugh I cant stand them.. maybe some people have abotions because they know what a shitty life they would be providing them.... why is that considered murder..when I think that is worse to raise a baby in poverty.
I hate the whole topic. I too am pro-choice because I truly beleive that without abortion this world would be so overpopulated with thousands of starvign and sick children and thousands of more orphans and foster kids...s

Hey I'm with you!
I don't agree with abortion and wouldn't do it myself, but I certainly wouldn't try to make something I believe into a law and make other people do what I want.
I also don't want to take away people's right to have an abortion either. Under those bulls*it laws a woman who got raped and pregnant could not get rid of the baby and that's just wrong. Not to mention what if she has a serious condition in which both her and the baby could die if she kept it?? Would it be worth both 2 lives just to TRY?
The republicans (who are trying to ban it) just want the babies to grow up so they can kill them by sending them to fight unjust wars!
Okay, sorry for the rant!

I agree with you. I am pro-choice, not pro-abortion. Most of the people that are against it have not yet faced an unplanned pregnancy or it may be for religious reasons. If it's for religious reasons then it's hypocritical because according to the bible, there should be no sex before marriage in the first place.
I laugh when I see a referance to god from a pregnant single teenager. They do not practice what they preach.

It's about saving a "potential life". Pro-lifers feel abortion is murdering an Innocent baby. however no one knows when an embryo becomes an actual life. They also feel women should be more responsible and not use abortion as a form of birth control.
I am pro-choice but I feel that so women (and men) are being irresponsible when it comes to sex, and using the freedom of abortion to correct the "mistake".
