What he is doing is trying to become God, by creating, and I believe there will be a severe reckoning. Man has never done this without terrible consequences.

We, as a collective, are god. We have mastered agriculture, architecture, and everything we need to survive, -except controlling the Earth and its weather. It is only logical that the next step include the manipulation and manual evolution of our own species through the work of our own hand.
Just as we created the concept of God in order to make sense of the world around us, so we will one day become like gods by creating other worlds and insuring the continuation of our species beyond our little blue marble in space.
As for beliefs, I think that beliefs will continue to help some people cope with life and resolve their existence. It will be used to rationalize the idea that because of "God" man was able to continue his own creative work.

no, but really man isn't doing what God can do just by cloning. Man can only recreate and copy what God has already given them. Like man can't just create something, they need to use something to recreate, like men just can't make dirt, they maybe can use something that might chemically combine and turn into dirt or something, i dont know, but they cant make dirt out of nothing like God can. They can copy the genes of animals that God originally created but they cant just create an animal by themself, you know what I mean?....

People will always find a reason to believe in god or to not believe in him.. Man is not one person but rather every sentient being on the planet. :) souls come from god, not from wombs.

Certainly they can clone another man or one who is changeing. The True Man's quest is for the realm that Jesus speaks of-I go to prepare a place for you that is UNCHANGEING. The cloned or inauthentic man will not desire such a place. The nonspiritual man worships CHANGE offered by The SeparateMind>

Cloning is just like drafting, take a bit from here ad it there,
Creating the thing anew could, but not cloning.

NO. Attempting to clone someone is trying to slap God in the face and humans will have their just punishment.

I believe that it has nothing to do with the existence or non-existence of a god. It's just another thing that we can do. There is no way to prove the non-existence of anything. The Burden of proof is on those that claim it does exist.
