There was a fairly painful (for both sides) romantic fallout between my best friend (female) and I (male). For a while I have been working on a present for her, I have been copying down my favorite book by hand (copyright infringement, I know >_> <_<). The question being, would it be innapropriate to finish and give her this gift 3 and a half months after the fallout?

For the moment, no.. She does not wnat to be my friend for right now, but she said we would continue our friendship in September. Her birthday is in late August. I do not know if she would enjoy it, if it would be a painful reminder I definitely will not give it to her. But I am not sure.

Why let all your hard work go to waste you are doing a nice thing if she does not appricate it then she was never a friend only an aquanance

If you've had a long friendship then I think it is fine to give it to her. Shows her there are no bad feelings and the friendship is still there if she wants it.

m..i dont think so..i think the gift is okay...but cudnt u hav selected her favourite book instead of yours??i dont think that the time period is a problem...one needs tht time to write down a whole book right??
