I'm hurting really bad, and know i don't want to die, but I just don't know how much more i can take right now. I would love to be able to just take a couple of days off mentally. It would be a relief to just sleep for a week, then hopefully i could wake up refreshed. Yeah, i am a depressive bipolar, but my meds aren't working apparently.

You're going to wake up from a massive hangover and feeling worse than ever if you try to treat depression this way. The following link gives you emails and phone numbers for bipolar hotline volunteers. They can probably help you feel better without putting your health in jeopardy. http://www.mental-health-today.com/suicide/hotline.htm

Sure.....take chemicals and it'll all be better. Shame on you. If it's absolutley necessary for you to take meds...and this seems to be the case...then you either better see your physician or psychiatrist and get those meds balanced.

Either that or try tackling problems on your own and do so without the use of pills.

Whatever makes you think if you zone out for a week your problem will be solved. plus...better wear a cathader and get an IV going if you plan on being in another world for a week.

I would definatly go see a doctor, because you are a depressive bipolar, there is no way that you will be able to sleep for that long. You need to get something from the doctor. Good luck

Sleeping for a week just delays your problems. Eventually you will have to face them. Don't you get a greater satisfaction from overcoming your ordeals? You can feel better by dealing with it head on and proving to yourself that you can make it without any help other than your own inner strength.

You should probably tell your psychatrist about your med problem. Perhaps another medication would work better for you. Have you tried lexapro, prozac or wellabutrin? Sometimes you have to hunt around until you find the right antidepressent.

You need to seek profesional help. Smoking pot won't help. And don't listen to anybody's stupid advice. If you are a depressive bipolar, you need to go to your doctor and tell him how you are feeling. He might switch around the medicine you are taking and give you something new to help you. There are people out there who want to help or who want to talk.... I feel for you. Please go to your doctor and talk to him. Don't do something you might regret later. Good luck.

Um... I smoke weed... that helps... and when you feel yourself slowly re-entering consciousness, smoke more...

Or, you know... go see a doctor.
