You should get your boyfriend something that you can enjoy together. It should be something that you can share and reconnect with. Did you ever have a great time at a concert with him? If so, you could get the newest CD from the artist you saw in concert or tickets to the next concert he/she's doing, or maybe tickets to a similar concert. Or, how about taking him to the first place you had dinner together? If your relationship started out really hot, and is cooling down a bit, you could do something a little sexy. Wear something that you know turns him on, or buy yourself something sexy and tell him it's for him to enjoy. ; )

Just why dont you arrange a "BACK to BEGINING surprise"
Its like this, Ignore him for a day or two before the anniversary
then just drop down on the day of anniversary with some little gift arranged as to be given every hour, and at the end of the day count all the gifts and propose him once again.

That is hard to say since none of us know him or what he likes. Take him out to a comedy club or make him dinner and seduce him. Guys usually aren't as picky as women when it comes to gifts.
Just make sure you DO NOT forget the bl0wj0b! Sounds crude but trust me - DO IT!

Go out to a bar and find another girl that will "play" with the two of you... when he gets home just wait for him naked and do the threesome thing. Lost of fun and inexpensive (unless you found a hooker).
