The Trans-Canada Highway stretches a whopping 4,860 miles (this figure varies slightly depending upon the source) across Canada. Beginning on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, (where Mile Zero is marked by a monument), the road makes its way across the Continental Divide, 5 time zones, and 10 provinces, and includes several car ferries before it terminates in St. John's, Newfoundland. That is about 8,100 km.
Then there is a highway that stretches from Canada, through the United States, Mexico, Central America, and ends close to the tip of South America. (or you can say it stretches in the other direction from south to north.)
There might be some longer in Russia, but I do not know.

The M25 isn't a complete ring road. Near the Thames (Near Thurrock I think) it becomes an A road for s short while, before becoming the M25 again

The M25 is probably the longest in the UK but not in the world. America has long roads in poor coutries may have a longer road. So, it isn't the longest.

No it just seems like it. It also has the least services of all British motorways (in my opinion)
Last Friday I set off from a meeting in Kent at 1.30, to go to home to Birmingham. I got home at 8.30!!!!!!!
An accident had closed the M25, the police had to land helicopters to give the motorists water - and they had to resurface the M25 because the fire from the lorry had melted the tarmac.
Needless to say I was not impressed.
I NEARLY MISSED BIG BROTHER!!!!!!!!

Probably the longest 'ring' road in the world. ---- and dont use your computer whilst driving.
When you reach the Queen Elizabeth 11 bridge --- take a sharp left turn --- that'll get you off , but make sure your car is fitted with a parachute!!!
