Use a wash cloth soaked in warm water and wipe from the corner to the edge of the eye. No salt. You need actually drops proscribed from a vet to speed up the heeling time. If you don't want to take them to the vet well....

Don't ever use a home remedy. If your kitten is having problems with it's eyes, it needs to be seen by a vet.

GO AND SEE A VET!!!! Do you understand that??? The kittens can GO BLIND!!!!!!!!
And Terramycin does NOT work for many infections!!! It is not very effective for URI's without using oral antibiotics also. They are probably to the point of needing Gentocin drops and soem Clavamox. PLEASE see the vet!!! Usually they will see just 1 kitten and give you meds for all.

You should just use a warm wash cloth to wipe the eyes with and have your vet examine it, it could be several reasons for his eyes draining. like conjunctivitis or other infections. Depending on the cause he would give medicated eye drops and possibly antibiotics.

When a kitten has eye discharge, it is most likely a upper respiratory infection. He needs to see a vet, otherwise he may get sicker and get nasal discharge and sneezing. He is very contagious too!

i'm not a vet, but i cannot imagine any amount of salt in an eye not hurting. try saline solution. not lens cleaning solution, plain old saline solution. it's cheap and i use it my eyes all the time. it's the same stuff they put in i.v.'s to rehydrate people. hope your kitty gets better!!
