Not reasonably no. Functionally and technically, yes. But I think that if you stand for abortion, homosexuality, irresponsible spending, etc....all of these are clear sins in the Bible: murder, homosexuality, stweardship (or lack thereof).

I get what you are saying but I think you have it mixed arround. A Christian would have a hard time standing on every plank that the Democratic party (or any other libral party) would put in place.
But I would also have to say, as a republican, I sometimes find the same is true with the republican party. I find myself at odds with both platforms and so a while ago came to this realization (with my pastors help of course):
If you vote the Bible you will be ok. You can almost say that we, as Christians are our own party, a hybrid of the two. I belive in helping the poor and needy but I also don't like the fact that people take advantage of the Welfare system.
I am pro life but I disagree with those people who are condemning women who have abortions.(i can explain my reasons for that later for u if you want)
I am a registered republican but I vote Christian.
Does that make sense?

A true Christian can not vote for allowing some one to kill a baby just because the person does not want it. Anyone who thinks they can be a Christian and do that has fooled themselves into hell. If that is liberal, then the answer is no.

Not sure what you mean by liberal...do you mean...with the times and progressive? Well sure, because Christianity is a faith for any age. But there are guidelines that God won't compromise on. Being Christian does not mean you're old fashioned. It just means you put God's principles above all else.

Jesus wasn't a Democrat or a Republican, in case some people are confused about that. But liberal vs conservative is too subjective. Liberal in what way? Morally? Politically? It would be best to reference some viewpoints with scripture too know where you stand...

Jesus Christ said "unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and God what is God's". He may have questioned politics in His day, but he acknowledged we should respect them. So Christ was not apolitical, He just tended to preach God's message as He was sent to do. Do politics the right way, and consider each candidate and issue according to it's own merit. Don't vote liberal or republican because that's your political affiliation. Vote what you sense as truth and vote your heart.
I am a conservative who will not hesitate to vote liberal if he or she contending is a better (or less "evil") choice.

Yes, you can be anything you want to be. The conservative christian is ust one type of christian. They have made it so people do not view christianity as an open minded religon, but that is not always the case.
