If Jesus was the reincarnation of God on earth then it is a contradiction to call him son of God. Also in many occasions he was refered to as the son of Man. However when asked if he was the son of God by the high priest he answerd affirmatively. The answer is yes and at the same time no.

1 JOhn 1:14 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God, and the Word became flesh and dwelled among us." In the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God - and Jesus became flesh and dwelled among us." Jesus is called God's son - what does the word son mean? Not always biological in nature. A son may be one who follow after a certain philosophy. In the Bible, 2 disciples were referred to as "sons of thunder." This did not mean that they were literally related to thunder, but rather that they were of its nature.

Jesus went through temptation like any other man. If he were God would he have needed temptation to test if he could withstand it?
He received Christ, the Godhead, not like any other man, into his whole being, and became One with God.
Son of Man was Jesus; Son of God was Christ. You and I are sons of men; you and I have Christ the God in our innermost being, as we also are, from God.

Yes he is. At John 14:9 Jesus spoke saying "He that has seen me has seen the Father also" He said this because He was made in God's Image as his only-begotten Son

More specifically, He is the God-made-man (what God would be in human form).
