Your son may be tired because of the stress in his life. This is very common for anyone. Try to help him not be stressed out. He is only 9 years old and should not have to worry about things. I am sorry for him that his father is getting divorced. It is very traumatic & stressful for kids. Good luck to you in taking care of him now. It probably will get better.

Yes, those things lead to stress and stress can make him tired. He is also a growing boy and if he is going through a growth spurt he can be more tired than normal as his body builds its self up. Tell him to keep up good eating habits and not to sleep too much. Too much sleep can make him feel more tired also. He also needs to find a way to be sure and have a little fun in his life so everything doesn't seem quite so bad.

Stress can make a person tired. So can anemia. Or getting sleep, but being restless and not getting good sleep. If he's depressed, it could be making him feel more tired too. I'd suggest a trip to the doctor to see if he can help.

Emotional tiredness often leads to physical tiredness. Severely depressed adults tend to lounge around in bed all day because they don't have the energy for anything else. Not that your son is necessarily depressed, he's just got a lot of emotional roller coaster stuff going on that he doesn't know how to handle, which is probably why his schoolwork is suffering too.

they may just make him feel a little stressed, yes kids do get stressed too. All you have to do, is be there for him and let him know that.
