Can I loose weight by eating turkey sandwiches on wheat bread everyday and just drinking water and walking for an hour everyday?

Yeah most likely, but where are you getting the rest of your nutrition from? You need fruits and vegetables!

HAHA, I've seriously done that before and it works. Actually I still eat my turkey sandwiches everyday for lunch. I use wheat pitas now, less calories then the wheat bread, plus it taste mad good. It gets boring but it's good and it's effective. Here are some other ideas for you. I eat chicken breast at dinner, it's lean and has good protein. I also buy the lean turkey meat, make sure its 99% fat free, and make turkey burgers. I don't use cheese just ketchup and mustard, but the turkey burgers are really packed with protein. Just lower your carb intake at night and substitute some protein. Eat carbs during the day because you will burn them off.

Walking for an hour a day is going to get old fast. If you go to a gym change your cardio up so you won't get bored and talk yourself out of doing it. Stairstepper is good, elliptical is good, rowing is mad good, etc. Try running too, you will def see a difference in no time.

If you stick to your diet and exercise you will lose a ton of weight.

It depends on your metabolism.....but yes I believe you can lose some weight this way. (not for a long term diet of course). When I dieted, that was a main lunch item for me (99% fat free turkey, light bread, mustard or some other no-calorie topping, lettuce, tomato). Drinking alot of water is also very helpful. Cutting out drinks with calories should make a difference if you normally like soda or juices. Walking is a great form of exercise as well.....find some hills if you're walking outside.

It depends on how many turkey sandwiches you are eating-turkey is lean protein, but 20 a day won't make you loose weight. The water and walking sound good. Supplement that with a multivitamin or a salad with fat free dressing to get your vitamins-you don't want scurvy.

That would be a great lunch and yes drink lots of water every day. Walking an hour a day is a good start but depending on the difficulty it is not enough to lose weight.

Yes, as long as you eat a medium size sandwitch for lunch. And it all depends on what you are going to have for lunch and dinner... a turkey sandwitch??? I would have a Slim Fast for breakfast. That will give you all the vitamins and minerals you need to start the day. For lunch and dinner, sure, a turkey sandwitch. You can use a little bit of mozzarella cheese and mustard, or low fat mayo. Feel free to use as much tomatoes and lettuce and onions on it.

Also, as a side, you can eat cucumbers, carrots, a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, onions... don't overdo it with the dressing.

That depends on how big the turkey sandwiches are.

If you're careful with portion size and don't add a lot of extras (like mayo!) to the sandwich, then yes.

You might want to increase your walk to a walk/run to improve your cardio workout. You will lose weight faster.

That may not be everything you need to do to lose weight, but it's a very good start! Although to make sure you get enough essential vitamins, I would suggest adding in a few portions of fresh fruit and vegetables per day and the occasional glass of fruit juice.

No, the only true way to lose weight is by decreasing your caloric consumption by eating a well balanced meal (food pyramid) and increasing your burning of calories by excercising more. I highly recommend running if you are able to run, but if not find another suitable excercise and stick with it.

You might could, I'm sure I don't know, but I do think you shouldn't just focus on two food groups : meat and bread. You should balance your diet with fruits and veggies. But you do have the main idea of healthy food combined with exercise. Just don't starve your body of the nutrition it needs.

yes you can lose weight; no you will not be healthy. plus you will get sick of turkey sandwiches and give up. eat chicken (grilled or baked), beef, prok lots of green vegis and fruits. eat very little bread and make sure it is whole grain.
