When i'm on the phone with my NEW guy i (or Him!!!) can nver think of any think 2 say there for there are like 30 second siences and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO beyond awkward!!!! HELP!!

That's where you need to stop the phone call all together. You two are new, so you don't know what to talk about. Forget talking on the phone, just talk face to face.

before you start the converstation have a cheat sheet of topic ideas.... find out what he likes the most (sports, music) and just talk about the latest.... just understand most guys hate talking on the phone so that could also be contributing to the long silences

Hang up. Why tie up the phone for hours with useless conversation. You'd be much more interesting if you narrowed your conversations to a few minutes at a time.
